Ornithomancy (Short Film, absurdist comedy)

Ornithomancy is an absurdist comedy that follows an anxious gay man who bases his major decisions on the flight pattern of birds. Minutes before an interview for his dream job, he must confront the most important people in his life. Originally written and performed as a one person play in 2019, the project has evolved immensely over the past five years and has expanded to incorporate a full ensemble. Now in development as a short film, produced and starring myself.

Good Mourning (TV Pilot, comedy)

A documentary filmmaker stagnating in a dead-end marketing job struggles to cope with the death of his filmmaking partner a few years earlier, until a chance encounter with an eccentric struggling actor old acquaintance reveals the secret, lucrative world of professional funeral mourners. Morbidly curious and itching to reignite his documentary career, he becomes the acquaintance’s grief acting partner, and tackles the taboo profession one client at a time.

Welcome to a weekend in 1985. Follow a socially-inept twenty-something, as he navigates his split commitments, and the religiosity of club and church culture as a gay male of color.
